Craftsman was the brand of tools sold by Sears. For decades, it was a quality tool brand with many of the machines made in the USA. Emerson Electric made some good quality cast iron Craftsman Table Saws. The Singer Sewing Machine company used to make motors for Craftsman Routers (before they were made of plastic). The King Seeley Corp out of Ann Arbor, Mi used to make a lot of Sears table saws, jointers and more.
